“NEW FACES” REVUE
Frank Neil’s ‘‘New Faces” revue company continues to enjoy a highly popular run at the Grand Opera House. Full audiences at the matinee yesterday afternoon and again last night were charmed and delighted with the highly-diversified programme submitted by the 25 international variety stars who comprise this talented combination. Joey Porter, England’s cleverest comedian, had tlie audiences convulsed with laughter, and the fun was kept mei'l'iiy gping by Alee Halls, the renowned Continental humorist. Nice. Florio and Lubow provided something sensational m the way of comedy dancing, and Frank Neil’s famous ballet and show girls staged many gorgeous turns. Les Diamondos scored a distinct hit with his glittering adagio novelty. For those who prefer something mqre serious, there is Aliss Grace Hartington, the gifted English soprano; Air. Ted Simpson, a silver-voiced tenor; and Mr. Russel Callow, n robust baritone, who contribute many line numbers. “New Faces” will be repeated to-night and to-morrow night, and there will he a change of programme on Saturday.
