Young Man’s Severe Burns Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, January 22. As the result of a tin of petrol, which he was using to treat flax at a llaxmill near Foxton this afternoon, exploding and spraying burning liquid over him, Mr. Eric Collins, aged about 2-1 years, was brought to Palmerston North Hospital suffering from severe burns on the back, right arm and left loir

Mr. Collins's burns were treated by free ambulance officers prior to his removal to hospital. His condition is reported to be satisfactory.
