Tenders are being received by the Public Works Department for the sealing of 370 chains of road for the Motueka Borough Council.
The largest station in the world is the Grand Central terminus in New York, for it has three stories. On the top are offices, refreshment rooms and shops. Twenty feet underground there are 29 platforms for the reception and dispatch of express trains. Twenty-four feet farther down there are another 15 platforms for local and suburban traffic.

But his unusual prosperity attracted attention, and the nine wives have taken united legal action for the return of their dowries. All complain that they had to work as assistant travellers without salary.
