Charge Against Father

Napier, January 21. George Leslie Houlton, the driver of the car which crashed through the railings of a bridge over the Tukitukl River resulting iu the death of two of his children, was charged at the Napier Magistrate’s Court this morning with being intoxicated while in charge of a car and that he did cause the death of the two children. He was remanded for a week.

Am inquest was opened for identification purposes, and was also adjourned for a week.
