HUTT VALLEY NEWS
Eulogistic reference to Mr. W. B. Gough, inspector for the Potone Borough Council, who is to retire shortly after 40 years’ service, was made in the Petone Court yesterday, when Mr. Gough was conducting by-law cases. The mayor, councillors and staff, will farewell him to-morrow week. A lecture on Christian Philosophy was given by Mr. L. Tannahill in the Koro Koro Schoolroom on Sunday evening. There was a fair attendance.
