Hay (25 sec.). 1; R. Hill (20sec.), 2; H. Smith (20sec.), 3. Second distance, Rowntree Cup, 50yds. backstroke handicap: A. Hepburn (scr.), 1; C. Jones (7sec.), 2; N. Jones (Tsec.), Second distance, Brodie Cup, 100yds, free style handicap: N. Jones (4sec.), 1; J. Horrax (6sec.), 2; V. Allan (16sec.), “Speedo” suits—chosen by champions.
