Catalogue). half-brother to Gay Court, Blue Boy, Quebec, all winners, and a full-brother to Maestro, winner at Tatter-sails (Sydney) of the Nursery Handicap last month of 300 sovs.. beating 9 runners. 2. Bay colt (second foal), fouled 9/10/33, bv Siegfried (imp.)—Sungift (Lot 15, Catalogue). The latter is a halfsister to Belgamba, the winner of ; the A.J.C.. V.R.C., and S.A.T.C. St. Legers. Mana’s Gift (the first foal of Sun Gift) is a half-brother to the above colt, and won 11.8, Jockey Club Matapiro Handicap, 6 furlongs, and E-sk Hack Handicap. 6 furlongs, beating 7 others. lie was distinctly promising, but unfortunately was destroyed in a tire at Hastings early in his career. 3. Brown filly (second foal), foaled October 28, 1933, by Siegfried (imp.)— Allowance (Lot 16 , Catalogue). The latter is a half-sister to Miss Hastings, winner of 4 races and placed in others. 4. Brown filly (second foal), foaled September 18, 1933, by Siegfried Gay Salute (Los 17, Catalogue), the latter being a half-sister to Queen Salute, a winner. Salute, the great-grand-dam, is half-sister to Queen March, the dam of Limarch, King March, and Gay Marigold. Siegfried won tn stakes £2140, and is by Son-in-Law (imp.) out of Fire Mist, who is the dam of hve winners, including Blazonry, who won the Champagne Stakes, 1933, at Doncaster, England, of £2230. These yearlings have been well done from foals, and have been depasturing on good limestone country. The above colts should be undoubted stayers. Three only of the Siegfrieds have raced, Maestro (a Randwick winner), Happy Landing, who ran second to Pakanui at Hastings in the Nursery Handicap, and Bonny Jpan, who ran second and third in Dunedin during the Christmas holidays.
