Second Auckland Sale To-day OFFERING OF 25,179 BALES Dominion Special Service. Auckland. January 21. The second Auckland' wool sale will b.e held to-morrow, when 25,179 bales will be offered at auction. A representative bench of buyers is expected. An offering of wool of good average quality will come'under the hammer, and in view of the recent trend of the market a keen sale is anticipated, with values very firm on those at the Napier and Wanganui sales; The wool is very representative of nil parts of the province, with a smaller percentage of finer clips than were offered at the first sale, and a greater” pruportjjjn of rougher back-country clips. The total offering is divided up into about 3000 lots, giving an average of something over eight bales to a lot. A number of comparatively large lots will be offered, there being two of 153 bales.
