Troops of International Force LEAGUE DECISION Undertakings Given By Germany Bv Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Geneva, January 18. The Council of the League of Nations Ims decided on the evacuation of the international force in the Saar, which will begin on February 1. the Italians going first. Mr. Anthony Eden, during a broadcast speech, announced that important undertakings had been given to safeguard members of the United Front. Germany has agreed that all voters and also non-voters resident in the Saar for three years might, for a transitional period of one year, living before the Plebiscite Tribunal complaints of any prosecutions, reprisals, or discriminaton due (o 4heir political attitude towards the plebiscite. It has also been agreed that inhabitants of the Saar should not for the same period be subjected to racial or language discrimination. Mr. Eden paid a tribute to the exceptional services of Baron Aloisi, Mr. G. G. Knox, -and their colleagues. (Note on Pago 7.) NAZIS AT VIENNA Renewal af Activities (Received January 20, 6.40 p.m.) London, January 20. The Vienna correspondent of “The Times” says that the police report a renewal of Nazi activities at Vienna, including the distribution of pamphlets attacking the Austrian Government, emphasising the German success in the Saar and calling on Austrian Nazis to persevere in the fight for freedom.
