CAPTAIN DROWNED
Last to Leave Wrecked Ship MISSED BREECHES BUOY Halifax, January 18. Piling upon a rocky shore in a heavy snowstorm with high seas, the British freighter Kenkerry became a complete wreck. Twenty-nine of the crew were rescued, but Captain Duncan Milne, the last to leave, was drowned when he missed the breeches buoy and was swept' away as the ship broke in half under the terrific pounding of the waves.
