FIRST SINCE WAR

Night Shoot to Take Place From Fort Dorset For the first time since Ihe war, it is believed, a night shoot will be carried out from Fort Dorset this week. On Saturday, 100 officers and men of the 15th Coast Battery, and a detachment. from the 13th Coast Battery, Auckland, began a ten days’ camp at Fort Dorset, and the two batteries will compete for the Hudson Cup, which is at present held by the Wellington unit, on Friday evening, when the night shoot will take place, and on Saturday afternoon.

Apart from this departure, the course will be the same as in previous years, and it is stated that the attendance compares quite favourably with other camps.
