Over 50 minor accident cases, involving cuts and bruises, were dealt with by members of the St. John Ambulance Brigade on duty at the waterside workers’ annual picnic at Motuihi ■lsland, Auckland, on Wednesday. Owing to the extremely hot weather, there were also several cases of fainting and mild sunstroke.
