MOONLIGHT EXCURSION

To-night’s Harbour Cruise A moonlight excursion will be run by the Eastbourne Ferry Service steamer Muritai to-night. The Muritai is timed to leave the ferry wharf, Wellington, at 7.45 p.m. for a harbour cruise, and is due to reach Wellington on the return at 11 p.m. in time to connect with the late trams. A first-class orchestra has been engaged for the trip. There will be dancing and community singing, and an enjoyable evening’s outing is assured. In connection with the Eastbourne Ferry Service arrangements for to-mor-row, Sunday, the Wellington Regimental Baud will render selected programmes on the 10.30 a.m. ami 2.30 p.m. trips of the Muritai from Wellington, and the 5.5 p.m. trip from Day’s Bay. This popular band is well known to the Wellington public, and is likely to be an added attraction to the trips to the favourite seaside resorts.
