EXCURSION TO PICTON
Although the Wahine's excursion io Picton on Tuesday next Anniversti'-y Day, will make a special appeal to motorboat racing enthusiasts on account of the Masport Cup and outboard motor races which will be run there during the vessel’s stay, there w.ll be plenty of other attractions" about Picton. These will include a special train to Blenheim and back, launches to some charming beauty spots across Queen Charlotte Sound, and a three-hour steamer cruise which will include a view of the Masport Cup. The Wahine will leave Wellington >i_l 8 a.m.. arriving at Pieton about 10.15 a.in. She is timed to wave Picton again nt 2.30 p.m.. arriving at Wellington about 5.30 p.m. Music will be provided on the excursion by the Boy '’ Institute Band Tickets can be purchased at Ihe Union Company’s office, or at the wharf on tin* morning of sailing.
