Gold and Silver Mallets SECOND DAY’S PLAY The weather was very boisterous for the second day of the Gold and Silver Mallet croquet tournament; consequently the play was not up to the usual standard, as on the exposed lawns the wind took control of the nail and the games were more a matter of good luck than good judgment.
