RECANTATIONS MADE
Zinoviev and Associates (Received January 17, 10.56 p.m.) Moscow, January 17. The trial of Zinoviev and others is being conducted by Judge Ulrich, who tried the Vickers engineers. All the accused made humble recantations. They admit criticisms of M. Stalin’s leadership and regret that these were likely to lie misconstrued by irresponsible persons.
