PLASTIC SURGEON’S FEAT
Injured Face Restored to Normal Appearance (Received January 17, 7.50 p.m.) London, January' 17. A .12-year-old girl, Cynthia Wilson, whose head and face were so badly injured in a motor accident that nurses prayed for her death, has been restored to normal appearance by Sir Harold Gillies, the New Zealand plastic surgeon. “It is one of the finest jobs Sir Harold has done,” said the counsel at the Bucks, Assizes, which granted the girl £lOOO damages and costs.
