MEDICAL HONOUR
New Zealander’s Success FIRST IN F.R.C.S. EXAM. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, January 17. Advice has been received that in the recent examination for the primary F.R.C.S. in London, Dr. Russell Fraser, son of Mr. Malcolm Fraser, Undersecretary for Internal Affairs, headed the list and gained the Hallett Prize. Dr. Fraser, -who is in his twentyseventh year, had a distinguished career at the Otago Medical School, passing all the professional examinations ■with top marks. Nine months ago he proceeded on a travelling scholarship to London, where he has since been engaged on post-primary research work. Wojxl was also received that Dr. Fraser had been appointed physician at the new post-graduate hospital at Hammersmith, where lie assumes his duties on February 1.
