Warm, fair weather, with strong northerlies. ; Following is the weather report and forecast issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, for 24 hours ending at 4 p.m. to-day Pressure is still rather high in the far north, but a depression of moderate intensity now covers the greater part of the Dominion. Forecast: Variable winds in the far south; otherwise northerly to westerly pre- * vailing, moderate generally, but strong at places in the central districts. Seas rather rough south of Cape Egmont and about Cook Strait; elsewhere in New Zealand waters moderate. ...
