Bridge Party i A very successful progressive bridge ■ party was held at the “Hotel Majes- > tic.” Paraparaumu Beach, on Wednesday evening. Miss Alice Law was the ‘ organiser, assisted by Mesdames Stev- ; ens and Tingey. Tlie first prize was won by Miss Wheeler, the “hidden number” prize ! by Mr.’ Tingey, and the consolation prize by Miss Hind. At the conclusion of the evening supper was served on the spacious veranda. A hearty votes of thanks to Mis<j Law and her committee was passed by the guests.
