rpWO very distinguished artists make X their appearance in films in “Even- , song.” They are Miss Alice Delysia and Mme. Conchita Supervia. Miss Delysia is, of course, the famous stage star whose appearances, in West End musical comedy, have been among the most popular attractions of the last few years and who is at present appearing in .Australia, In “Evensong” she portrays Evelyn Laye’s Parisian singing teacher, a role for which she is eminently suited. Mme. Conchita Supervia is one of the world’s most famous sopranos. In “Evensong” her part is that of a rival opera star to Evelyn Laye and her scenes provide ample opportunity to demonstrate her superb art.
