Request For Inquiry in Britain (Received January 16, 7.40 p.m.) London, January 16. A deputation headed by' the Archbishop of Canterbury waited on Mr. Ramsay MacDonald, Prime Minister, and urged an inquiry into the censorship of entertainment films. Mr. MacDonald, in a cautious reply, promised to examine the matter, but said he was not sure a public inquiry would be helpful. The Primatei said that the real danger was the effect of cinemas on adolescents at an impressionable age.
