Executive Commission of Agriculture By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, January 16. Asked whether any steps had been taken in regard to the appointment of the executive commission of agriculture as required by the legislation recently passed by Parliament, the Minister of Finance, Rt. lion. J. G. Coates, in an interview to-day, indicated that the matter was under consideration at the present time. “We have been in communication with certain gentlemen witli a view to their becoming members of the commission,” he said, “but as yet I am unable to make any announcement concerning the personnel or likely personnel of it.”
