THEFT OF TIMBER
Term in Borstal Institution By Telegraph—Press Association. Greymouth, January 16. Cyril James Martin, aged 20. pleaded guilfy to a charge of theft of timber, valued at £lO, the property of the Red Jack.s Sawmilling Company, and also of escaping fi'Oin the Greymouth gaol. Mr. H. Morgan. S.M., refused a plea for probation and committed Martin to a Borstal Institution for twelve months.
