Brabin Shield Match The match for the Brabin Shield between junior players of Canterbury and Wellington under 21 years of age will be played at the Basin Reserve on Tuesday and Wednesday next. The selectors, Messrs. L. J. Brabin, A. Ronaldson, and M. Rice, have chosen the following team to represent Wellington: Bezzant (Wellington College) captain, Mccch (Wellington), Young (Wellington College), Lubransky (Kilbirnie), Rowe (Karori), Clark (Wellington), Bush (Wellington College), Edwards (Karori), Boys (Brooklyn), M. Browne (Karori), Liddicoat (Stop Out). Play will commence at 10.30 a.in. Match Against Mercantile League. The following team has been selected to represent the Welliugtou juniors against a Mercantile League eleven on the Basin Reserve on Tuesday next: L. Clark (Midlaud) captain, R. McDonald (Karori), King (Karori), Buddle (Wellington), Mason (Stop Out), T. Moore (Stop Out), Morgan (Midland), Reynolds (Old Boys), Jeffery (Brooklyn), Macklin (Stop Out). Cutts (Midland). There is no age limit to this team. Play will commence at 10.30 a.in., and the match will be confined to one day.
