Board of Trade Returns For Britain INCREASES IN 1934 Gains in Imports, Exports and Re-Exports (British Official Wireless.» (Received January 15, 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, January 11. Full Board of Trade returns for 1934 tire now available and reveal a considerable expansion of overseas trade during lhe year. Imports were of a total value of £732,330,823, representing an increase of £57,314,704 over those of 1933. The value of exports in 193-1 was £396,107,540, an increase of £28,198.492 over the previous year. Re-exports, at £51,263,472, were £2,182,745 higher than in 1933. December trade figures are also published. Imports for the month, at £63,262,544, showed a decrease as compared with November of £1,424,803 but an increase of £104,136 over the total of lhe eorresponding'month in 1033. December exports, at £34,300,382, were lower than those of the previous month by £1,824,882 but ‘represented an increase of £3,870,818 over the total for December, 1933. Re-exports last month, at £3,605,689, showed a decrease of £402,601 and £836,846 respectively. (Note on Page 7.)
