LATE MR. D. FULTON

Man of Highest Integrity By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, January 15. Air. W. Grounds, a.member of- the Dairy Board, speaking last evening at a meeting which demanded the repeal of the Agricultural Emergency Powers Act, said that in eulogies of tlfe late Air. AV. Dynes Fulton it has been said that he would undoubtedly have occupied a greater position’. “I believe that is quite.true,” said Mr. Grounds, “but I do not believe that he would have allowed himself to be used to the detriment of the industry. As a result of my very intimate contact with him I say definitely that I do not believe that Air. Dynes Fulton would have allowed himself to be used to hamstring the dairy industry or to end the right of self-determination in our political interests and in our dairy industry.” Air. Dynes Fulton, being a man of tlie highest integrity, would never have stood for interference with that heritage of freedom of political action which our forefathers fought for and prized, said Air. Grounds.
