Recreation For Children NELSON MAN’S BEQUEST By Telegraph.—Press Association. Nelson, January 15. Under’ the will of the late Mr. R. B. Jackson, of Nelson, a certain sum is left to be expended 011 the provision of children’s playgrounds in tlie city. The executors of the estate have now decided to purchase a property in Waimea. The area will be suitably equipped as a children’s recreation ground, part of which will be grassed ami part laid down with a prepared surface. 'When completed it will be handed over to the city. Other schemes for the provision of similar’ areas in various parts of the city are under consideration by the executors of the estate.
