Suburbs Club at Trentham long-range matches The Suburbs Defence Rifle Club fired matches tor No. 5 series o\ei JOO jaids at Trentham on Saturday. Weather conditions were easily the most difficult experienced this season. A strong southerly wind varying rapidly from 3 minutes left to 15 minutes right made accurate shooting almost impossible, and apart from one or” two exceptions the scoring was very ■ lO 'li li Hunt was responsible for a very fine effort in the first shoot, when he scored 47 under trying conditions. T. Goodall, who scored 45. was unfortunate in finishing with a “magpie.” The results were as follow 900 900
