The IVanganella. which arrived, at 7 p.m. last night from Sydney, and berthed at Pipitca Wharf, brought the following transhipments; Ex Themistocles. Tanion Slant, Chanote. Strathnaver, Baradlne, Mongolia, Ataloja, Nieuw Holland, Atsuta Marti, Meriones. Canadian Highlander. The IVanganella is to sail for Sydney at 3 p.m. to-morrow. WATERSIDERS’ PICNIC TO-DAY. The annual picnic of the Wellington waterside workers will take place to-day if the weather proves favourable, and in this case no work will be done on the wharves. If for any reason the picnic cannot take place, a four-tlag signal will fly at the slount A’ictoria signal station between 7.39 and 8.30 a.m. 51AKURA FRO.M ’FRISCO. The Union Company liner 51akura is due to sail from San Francisco to-day for Wellington and Sydney, via Papeete and Rarotonga. She is due here on February 4 and will leave again the next day for Sydney. KAIMIRO DUE TO-MORROW. The Union Company lias received advice by radio from the Kaimiro. which left Port Kembla on January 11 for Wellington, that she expects to arrive here at 6 a.m. to-morrow. GABRIELLA TO SAIL. The Union Company’s steamer Gabriella, now at Greymouth, will sail for Sydney to-morrow. She Is to load at Newcastle on January 26. and to complete at Sydney for New Plymouth, Gisborne and Picton. TUSCAN STAR AT LONDON. The Blue Star Line motor-ship Tuscan Star, which sailed from Aucklaud on December 8 for London, arrived there at 8.30 a.m. on Sunday, January 13. HERTFORD COMING. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received cabled advice that, the steamer Hertford left London in ballast for New Zealand on January 12. She is due to reach New Zealand about March 1 to load Homeward. MATAKOA AT PITCAIRN. The Shaw. Savill liner slatnroa. which left. Lyttelton on January f> for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal, called at. Pitcairn Island on Sunday. /. radio message from the vessel states that splendid weather has been experienced, and that all on board are well. CORNWALL THROUGH CANAL. Cabled advice states that the Federal Company's Cornwall, which left. Auckland on December 22 for London, Avonmouth. Liverpool and Glasgow, has now passed through the Panama Canal. She sailed from Colon on January 12. KENT SAILS. The Federal Company's steamer Kent, wlileli has been completing her Homeward loading at Auckland, was due to sail at 10 p.m. last night for London. Avonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow, via the Panama Canal. SIARAMA AT AUCKLAND. The Union Company’s Marama. which left Sydney last Friday for Auckland, arrived there yesterday. She is due to sail for Sydney again next Friday. THE ABEL TASMAN. The steamer Abel Tasman, for which Holm and Company are agents, is due at Wellington this morning from Sydney, via Lyttelton. She will sail again to-morrow to complete discharge at Auckland. IVAIKAWA AT APIA. The Union Company steamer Waikawa. duo at Auckland on January 20, leaves Apia to-dnv. After discharging at Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin she will proceed to Melbourne and Sydney. THE WAIRUNA. The Union Company's Wairuna. now loading in California for Australian and Now Zealand ports, via Apia, was to have loft Vancouver yesterday for Ocean Falls, thence to San Francisco and Los Angeles to complete.
