An incredible effrontery is possessed by some people. A case was mentioned at a meeting of the Marlborough Automobile Association of a woman motorist who, though wealthy enough to own three cars, had consistently declined to join a southern association, yet calmly approached the local association for assistance in arranging a holiday in Marlborough. In accordance with the policy of I lie automobile associations', the local association forwarded the desired information to tlie association in the inquirer’s district, which advised her that the information would he passed on when she joined up. ’Til bet feminine curiosity will make her join in order to get our reply,” prophesied Mr. L. C. Chaytor.
