Taking the Church to the People.- An innovation so far as Wellington is concerned: a special service for children was held at Lyall Bay yesterday afternoon. The continuity of the service was broken to allow a sand-modelling contest by the children, who are seen, each with a marked-off plot, setting to work on their designs.
