Union Cargo Service The following are the movements of Union Company vessels engaged In its intercolonial cargo service:— The Gabriella Is to leave Greymouth about 'Wednesday for Sydney, thence to Newcastle and Sydney to load for New Plymouth and Gisborne. The Kaimiro, from Newcastle and Port Kembla, Is due at Wellington next Thursday. The Kalingo is to load at Newcastle on Wednesday and completes at Sydney and possibly Port Stephens for Auckland. The Ngakuta is to load at Newcastle on Wednesday and completes at Sydney for Wellington and Napier. The Omana, from Westport, is due - at Melbourne next Thursday, thence after discharge to Edithburg, Adelaide and Melbourne to load for New Plymouth, Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. Thc Waikouaiti, from Newcastle and Port Kembla, Is to leave Sydney to-day for Bluff, Dunedin, Tinjarti, Lyttelton and Oamaru. The Waipahi is to load at Newcastle today and completes at Sydney, clearing there on Wednesday for Fiji and Auckland. The Waitaki is to leave Auckland next Thursday for Sydney to dock. She will then load at Newcastle, Sydney and Hobart for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru and. Lyttelton. MAKURA AT ’FRISCO. Cabled advice has been received by the Union Company that its R.M.S. Makura, from Sydney and Wellington, reached San Francisco at 6.30 a.m. last Friday. She will leave there again on Wednesday for Papeete, Rarotonga, Wellington and Sydney, and is due here on February 4. WATERSIDERS’ PICNICS. I - Owing to the waterside workers both at Wellington and Lyttelton holding their annual picnics on Wednesday, no cargo will be received by the Wahine to-morrow or the Rangatira on Wednesday. WANGANELLA LEAVES SYDNEY. Cabled advice has been received that the Huddart, Parker motor-liner Wanganella left Sydney at midday on Saturday £or Wellington. She is expected here late tomorrow afternoon and will leave again at noon next Thursday for Sydney and Melbourne. NARBADA REPORTS. Further wireless advice, from the Union Company’s chartered steamer Narbada states that she will reach Auckland at 6 a.m. to-day. The vessel is from Calcutta, Penang, Singapore and Samarang, with Eastern produce for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff, and is expected here next Friday. MAHENO LEAVES MELBOURNE. The Union Company’s Maheno left Melbourne on Saturday for Milford Sound, Bluff and Wellington. She is due here next Sunday, and will leave again lowing day for Melbourne, via Bluff and Milford Sound. MAUNGANUI AT SYDNEY. Cabled advice has been received that, the Union Company’s R.M.S. Maunganui, from San Francisco and Wellington, reached Sydney at 4.30 a.m. on Saturday. MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. Captain S. W. Hayter is in command «t the C. and D. Line motor-ship Port Chalmers and his officers are:—Chief, E. Roswell: second, C. Townsherd: third. P. H. Munday: fourth, C. W. Hancock: chief engineer. W. Gibbs; senior second, L. Linklater; junior second, M. Mather; senior third, J. Herriotts; first refrigerating engineer, E. Cameron; chief electrician, H. Murray; wireless operator, H, Faulkner; ehlef steward. C. Burrows. Mr A. G. Aburroson is now second engineer of the Breeze, relieving Mr. W. Graham. Mr. T. W. Beck has been engaged as second engineer ot the Canopus, relieving Sir. W. a. Kennedy. Mr. W. Graham is now chief engineer of the Storin. THE CANADIAN HIGHLANDER. The Canadian National steamer Canadian Highlander passed Wellington Heads, at 0.30 p.m. last Thursday bound from Melbourne to New York. Boston ana Halifax. PORT GISBORNE. . The Commonwealth and Dominion .Line motor-ship Port Gisborne sailed from Launceston on January 11 for Bluff, where she is due to-morrow to commence her Homeward loading. PORT CHALMERS ARRIVES. Thc C and D. Line motor-ship Port Chalmers arrived at Wellington yesterday morning from New Plymouth and berthed at the Glasgow Wharf to complete her Homeward loading. She will sail finally on January 21 for London, via Cape Horn and Dakar. RARANGA REACHES LONDON. The Shaw. Savill Company have received cabled advice that the Raranga which left Lyttelton on November 23 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Magellanes and Montevideo, reached London on the morning of January 11. THE OPAWA. The motor-ship Opawa is now to leave Wellington to-day for Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, Bluff and New Plymouth to complete discharge of her Liverpool cargo. KINI RESUMING. The Union Company’s Kini, which has been laid up at Wellington for overhaul and survey is to recommission to day, and leaves for Westport to load for Wellington. AKAROA’S MOVEMENTS. The Shaw Savill liner Akaroa is due at Lyttelton thia morning from Port Chalmers for further loading. She will complete at Auckland and Wellington, arriving hers on January 25 and sailing finally on February 6 at daybreak for Southampton and London, via thc Panama Canal. BY TELEGRAPH. OVERSEAS.
