SHOPLIFTING BY BOYS
Series of Offences at Hamilton! By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hamilton, January 12. Five boys, whose ages ranged from twelve to fourteen, pleaded guilty in the Children’s Court to-day to charges of shop-lifting in Hamilton. AU the boys came from respectable homes. The offences, which extended over the past three months, consisted of the theft of watches, torches, knives, balls, etc. The magistrate, in severely admonishing and discharging the offenders, indicated that a repetition of the offences would not be viewed so leniently.
