Golf Tussle at Heretaunga A most exciting, final for the junior championship of the Wellington Golf Club was played between D. Brown and W. 11. Simpson yesterday. The match was over 36 holes, and Simpson led by 6 up at the end qf the morning round. Brown played so well in the afternoon that he had squared the game at the thirty-sixth, and went on to win a fine uphill battle at the thirty-seventh. Next Saturday the annual competition for the William Herbert Salver, a men’s fourball bogey handicap competition will be played at Heretaunga. Shandon Club A bogey competition on the Shandon links on Saturday afternoon was won by W. Lauchlan (9). who finished all square The next best cards were: Spencer 'Digby (17), J. Wild (IT), J. W. Fergie (14), 1 down.
