Wilding Shield, Nunneley , Casket WELLINGTON’S CHOICE The Wilding Shield lawn tennis matches are to be held on January IS and 19. and the Nunneley Casket matches on February 1 ami 2, both at Miramar. The Wellington Lawn Tennis Association has announced the following team for the Wilding Shield against Canterbury:—D. G. France (No. 1), N. Smith (No. 2), R. McL. Perkins (No. 3), N. F. N. Bedford (No. 4). The doubles formation will be: France and Smith, Ferkins and Bedford. The Nunneley Casket team will be as follows: —Miss D. Howe-(No. 1), Miss D. Nicholls (No. 2), Miss F. Ferule (No. 3), Miss F North (No. 4). Miss Margaret Whyte was not available The doubles formation has not been settled, but will be decided after practice for the purpose.
