IN the course of this address evidence will be produced from the Scriptures to show: — (1) THAT reference is made in the Scriptures to two bodies—“a natural body” and “a spiritual body.” (I Cor. 15:44.) (2) THAT “a natural body” is that possessed during “the life that how is” (I Tim. 4:8) —by nature a “mortal.” “corruptible,” “sinful,” “vile” body. (Gen. 3:19, Roms. 5: 12. I Cor. 15:53, Roms. S:3, Phil. 3 :21. etc.) (3) THAT “a spiritual body” is that possessed during the life that is to come”—the “change” from the one to the other taking place when the accepted are granted eternal life at the judgment scat of Christ nt Hix second coming. (4) THAT the recipients of the promised “spiritual body” in then possessing powerful. incorruptible, physical bodies will become Christ’s co-rulers in the administration of the universal Kingdom of God Christ will establish upon earth at His return.
