Coramba Inquest Finding
Melbourne, January 11
A finding of accidental death caused by drowning was recorded by the city coroner at the inquiry into the deaths of four members of the crew of the wrecked steamer Coramba,’ whose bodies were recovered. Seventeen men lost their lives in the disaster. Evidence was given that the vessel was seaworthy and properly equipped with life-saving apparatus.
