CHOPIN’S COLLAR

Frederic Chopin, one of the world's, most famous musicians and composers, showed remarkable talent for music at a very early ago, and began playing in public before he was ten years old. Audiences were amazed at his performances, but the happy-natured child was unspoilt by their admiration. At one concert he was much more interested in the new white •collar on his dark suit than in the applause he received. At the end of the performance his mother asked him, “What do you think that the audience liked best in all your concert?” “My collar!” replied the young musician without hesitation.
