Beginning at 8.30 p.m to-morrow the following programme will be played by Miss Gladys Watkins on the War Memorial Carillon: Half-hour chime; hymn, “Praise, My Soul, the King of Heavens”; negro spiritual, “Were You There?”; “The Bluebells of Scotland”; “Passing By” (Purcell); hymn, “Fierce Raged the Tempest”,; “Hoea Ra” (Maori canoe song) ; “Coronach.” a Highland lament (Barratt) ; rondo, “Le Coucou” (Daquin); hymn, “Abide with Me”; National Anthem.
