New Zealand ewes, small, 4 1-Sd. to 4 3-Sd.; large. 3 3-Sd. to 3 7-Bu. New Zealand beef, ox hinds. 3sd. to 3J<l.; fores, 2 3-Sd. to 2 5-B<l. Argentine chilled ox hinds, ssd. to 6}d.; Argentine chilled ox fores. 3+d. to 3sd. New Zealand pork. 5Jd. to 61d. Australian lambs. 6d. to 7 ; ]d. Argentine lambs. 6.1. to 6sd. Lambs: The demand has been satisfied at these prices, but the market is sfeady, nnd no material change is expected yet. Wethers: The market is firm. bnf. there is little business doing. Ewes: There is a better demand. Beef: Smaller supplies have caused prices to harden. Pork: The market is quiet and unchanged. Trade generally is fair.
