LODGE MEETINGS

Manchester Unity, ,L0.0.F.

The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Britannia Lodge was held recently, Bro. Wickens presiding. Lodge honours were extended to Bro. Brown. V.G., of the Good Intent Lodge, Auckland, and Bro. Dixon, of Loyal Duke of Cambridge Lodge, Cambridge, both visitors suitably replying.

Bro. Treadwell reported on the children’s Christmas tree party. Bros. Williams and Leggett issued a challenge to the holders of the Perrin Pins. There was a good attendance at a recent meeting of the Loyal Kilbirnie Lodge. Bro. Eades installed Bros. Brass, L. H. Arena and Arkinstall as N.G., elective secretary and warden respectively. One new member was initiated. Bro. R. S. Whitton, of Loyal Meanee Lodge, was welcomed. Bro. Eades made an appeal to Past Grands to show their interest and join the Past Grands’ Lodge- Nominations were received for district office, Bro. C. O. Jorgensen being nominated for a seat on the district management committee and for the position of deputy grand master.
