Savlll liner Akaroa is to commence her Homeward loading at Port Chalmers thlg morning and will leave there’ again to-morrow for Lyttelton, Auckland and Wellington to complete. She is due here on January 25 and is to clear this port finally at daybreak on February 6 for Southampton and London, ria the Panama Canal. THE PENNYWORTH. Canadian National Steamships advise that their chartered steamer Pennyworth is due at Wanganui on January 28 from Canada via Australia, to load. She will complete at Lyttelton and Bluff, whence she will sail on February 14 for New York, Boston and Halifax. The Pennyworth, originally the Gogovale; is of 5388 tons gross, and was built in 1916. Her owners are the Dalgltesh Shipping Company, Ltd. WAIPAWA FOR LONDON. The Shaw, Savill motor-ship Waipawa, loading for London via the Panama Canal, Is to leave Wanganui for Auckland on Monday. She will later complete at Napier and Wellington, being due here on January 22. Her final sailing date is now fixed for January 25. KARAMEA’S MOVEMENTS. The Shaw Savill motor-ship Karamea will now leave Wellington at noon to-day, for Picton. She will leave Picton next Tuesday for Gisborne, Waikokopu and Napier to complete loading, and will sail finally from the last-named port for London, via the Panama Canal on January 27. THE HUNTINGDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Huntingdon, which left Falmojjth In ballast on December 19, is now due to reach New Zealand on February 1 to commence her Homeward loading. RANGITANE LEAVES COLON. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received cabled advice that its motorliner Rangltane. which left Wellington for London on December 21, cleared Colon on ■ January S. PORT FAIRY’S PASSENGERS. The C. & D. Line motor-ship Port Fairy, which left Port "Chalmers on Wednesday morning for London, via Cape Horn, took the following passengers:—Mr. and Mrs. F. Corby has reported from holidays, and is at present waiting orders at Wellington. . Mr. C. A. Spence, third officer of the Kallngo, has been granted holiday leave at. Sydney. . . Mr. A. T. Adam has been appointed act-ing-master of the Kowhai at Melbourne, relieving Captain R. B. Denniston, who has gone to Svdney on holiday. The Ngatoro will be resuming at Sydney in a day or two, and will lie under command of Captain W. W. Fish, who will have with him Mr. C. H. George as chief officer, Mr. A. W. Rabibitt as second and Mr. C. A. Woods as third. Mr. L. D. Hurley is now purser of the Tamahine, relieving Mr. M..E. Edmundson, who has transferred to the Rangatira in a similar capacity, relieving Mr. W. H. Craike. Mr. N. Earl has replaced Mr. A. E. R. Lewis as fourth engineer of the Tamahine. Captain S. C. Cottell is in command ot the C. & D. Line motor-ship Port Alma. He has with him the following officers;— Chief, Mr. G. T. Harris; second, Mr. F. Kidwell: third, Mr. W. B.
