At a meeting of the Labour Party at Milton, the Rev. E. T. Cox, .Mayor of Dunedin, agreed to permit bis name to go before the Labour Representation Committee a,s a candidate to contest the Clutha seat at the general election.

The present member for Clutha is Mr. P. MeSkimming. a United Coalitionist.
