M.P. Urges Trade Pact

Tokio, January 9.
Mr. W. E. Barnard, New Zealand, M.P. for Napier, in a Press interview, urged a Japanese trade pact enhancing co-operation and exchange of commodities.
He said New Zealand regards closer Japanese relations as most important, finding Japanese goods excellent and cheap and desiring to sell more of her own goods to Japan.
