Boy Rescued From Drowning By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gisborne, January 9. A boy of eight, Keith McKay, was swept from a sandbank near the harbour entrance and was rescued in an unconscious state by an unknown man. who applied artificial respiration and restored the child to consciousness. He then disappeared.
