Ships’ Officers Strike

Hong-Kong, January 8. The shipping officers’ strike is virtually settled, the majority of owners having agreed to sign an agreement with the guild for a standard wage, also the abolition of the clause allowing 24 hours’ notice to be given.
All ships have resumed running.
