Returning to Wellington Next Week LEAVE-TAKING OF DUKE By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, January 8. The present visit to Auckland of the Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, and Lady Bledisloe, will terminate on Thursday morning, when their Excellencies will leave for Tokaanu, where Lord Bledisloe will spend a few days’ fishing, and Rotorua. Their Excellencies will leave Rotorua on January 18, arriving at Wellington the following day. They will again pass through Auckland on January 25 on their way to Russell and Waitangi, where they will take leave of the Duke of Gloucester. The final visit of the ‘GovernorGeneral to the city will take place early in March, when their Excellencies will stay for one night to bid farewell to the people of Auckland at a civic function to which'the Mayor has invited them.
