GOLDEN WEDDING

Graham—Cheeseman Mr. and Mrs. Graham celebrated their golden wedding at their residence, 7 Waripori Street, on Sunday, when a large gathering of relatives and friends was present. Mr. and Mrs. Graham were married in Holy Trinity Church, Spring Creek, Marlborough, on January 6, 1885, by the Rev. Arthur Herman. They have four children, 17 grandchildren and two great-grand-children. Among those present was Mrs. C. Tandy (nee Jones), who was one of the bridesmaids. Numerous congratulatory messages of goodwill were received from all over the Dominion. Twelve thousand pats an hour are formed, stamped with a design and packed in. a tin by the “butter pat” champion of Cadiby Hal], London. Despite exhaustive inquiries, on machine lias yet been found to equal her dexterity.
