Tenders are being invited again by the Government for the erection of the new Government Life Insurance Building in Wellington. March 5 Is announced as the last day on which they will be accepted. Tenders were invited about twelve months ago, but none of those received was satisfactory, and it was decided to revise the plans and invite fresh tenders. The site is that fronting Customhouse Quay, Panama Street and Brandon Street, occupied formerly by the department’s building.
